Food Bank for the Heartland is excited to announce ART SMITH as the 2013 Celebrity Chef!


Art Smith is the executive chef and co-owner of restaurants across the country. He has been featured on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters and served as the personal chef to Oprah Winfrey. Chef Smith was honored with the prestigious James Beard Award for Humanitarianism in 2007 for his work with his nonprofit organization, Common Threads.

At Celebrity Chef, guests will enjoy appetizers, a signature moonshine cocktail, a cooking demonstration by Chef Smith, a super raffle and a live auction. The sit-down dinner menu is inspired by Chef Smith's Southern-style recipes.

Individual tickets are $150 each. Patron tickets are $300 each. Patrons are invited to attend a private party with Chef Art Smith with cocktails and appetizers at 5 p.m., before Celebrity Chef begins. They will also receive a copy of his cookbook.
